@Miraz I'm a book-before-movie person, will watch that after I read. Right now I'm reading Data Feminism.
@kimberlyhirsh Data feminism sounds interesting. The facts of the racism and sexism in the Hidden Figures movie still gives me a knot in my stomach — I was only a kid at the time (and in another country) so really only knew the disparaging ways my own family spoke about some people. The shockingly overt racism depicted in the movie left me with complex feelings I still haven't really come to grips with.
@kimberlyhirsh @Mirax sorry to butt into a conversation, but I love Data Feminism so dang much, and I haven't even read past chapter 2.
