Each time the chain comes off my bike I’m that bit more adept at putting it back on. Apparently this chain falling off thing is more of a problem on bikes like mine that have a single ummm cog (?) at the front.

@Miraz I wonder if your chain is bit long/slack, or perhaps stretched? I cycled for many years without knowing that bike chains stretch with age 🤷♀️. Or maybe something is a bit mis-aligned with the gears, if your bike is geared?
@Miraz Do you have many gears (cogs) at the back wheel? I don’t know much about modern bikes, but I know there’s many here that potentially could contribute with technical knowledge about bikes. 🚲
@bsag Thanks for the thought. I know about chains stretching and getting worn. I’ve hardly ridden this though since a professional service last month. The bike guy’s the one who said about the problem with a single cog at the front.
@Miraz Ah, that’s obviously not the issue then. I hope you find a solution - putting chains back on is a messy business!
@Miraz it might be a matter of loosening the wheel and pulling it back, to tighten the chain. Out of curiosity, which ebike do you have?
