@Miraz They’ve updated it to M2.8 and 5 Km deep, but that’s still really shallow. And at -40.72, 175.11, only 3.64 Km from our house.

@Miraz Do you also have a Raspberry Shake, like @kurite ? I’ve experienced a shake only once over here, only felt it slightly on the floor and saw the overhead light dangling a bit.

@odd I don’t understand the Raspberry Shake reference… We get earthquakes all the time and they seldom bother me. Some are tiny and barely perceptible, others give you a good rattle, and everything in between.

@Miraz Oh, then you probably don’t have it. It’s a seismograph made with a Raspberry Pi.

@odd @Miraz planning to get one of those RPi Shake as well - just a tad expensive at this time.

@odd @Miraz RaspberryShake is definitely geewiz & pricey but as a geologist I can ‘t help but love it and the citizen science it contributes

@kurite Ah well, if I win Lotto or something then I’d love to have one. Good to get a confirmation that they’re a valuable contributor to the science. 😀
