@jayeless Ugh. Surely any sane government would aim to get 100% of the population vaccinated! I know there are valid reasons for some not to get the vaccine, but everyone else should get it. Just like with measles etc.

@Miraz Absolutely. Our government's goal is that eventually all adults who want the vaccine will get it (I'm not sure why under-18s are excluded though, tbh), but they're falling well short of the pace they set for themselves. Their own site says I can expect to be vaccinated in the middle of the year, but at this rate it won't happen 'til sometime in 2022 😔

@jayeless in Europe it is 16 and older and the reason given here is that there are no studies on kids yet. There is talk that 12 year olds could start getting vaccinated sometime in the fall

@jayeless Do you have any way you can send an online message to your GP? Here we have something called My Chart. I used it to ask if she knew a good place I could get the vaccine. The next day I got an answer with a phone number to call and today I get my first shot.

@Ron Unfortunately I don't think my GP has a system in place like that. It sounds like the process is pretty well-organised where you are – I wish I could say the same for us! 😅
