Feature needed for news sites: a mouse-over for names in an article that quickly shows you who they are and how they relate to the reported issue. I always forget who is who and have to go back to the top of the article to reread their introduction. Books need this as well.

@lmika That would be great on news sites, yes. As far as books go, isn’t that part of what Amazon’s X-Ray does with Kindle books ?

@lmika I’ve noticed when I read a Wikipedia page about a film or TV show that they tend to do that with actor names. It's extremely helpful. Agree that news and other sites could use it to help us. (Actually I need it in Kindle fiction as well: who the heck was Mary again? Oh, the sister!)

@maique Ah, yeah. You might be right there. Probably something I should actually start using 😄

@Miraz I especially find that to be the case in Agatha Christie novels! @lmika

@lmika I would be thrilled if this was on all the books, it would help a lot for someone like me. After a couple hundred pages I tend to forget minor characters names.

@Miraz Yeah, something like that would be perfect. It doesn't need to be much: just the line that introduces the person, as that is usually what I reread anyway.

@odd @maique Probably the series of novels I wish had this was A Song Of Ice and Fire. By the time I was reading the 4th book, there were hundreds of characters, some of them last mentioned two volumes ago. I took my time through that series and it was years since I read the introduction of some of them.

@maique Thanks for mentioning Amazon X-Ray. I've been meaning for years to find out what that did. Today I looked it up. 😀 Sure to use it sometimes now. // @lmika
