@wearsmanyhats funny - been circling it for years now - the essence of what it does i naturally use - e.g. text expander has been in the must have apps for a long time - but somehow this one always seemed too complicated ... @macsparky definitely made me sit up and understand how simple it can be ... β€˜FINALLY’.

@JohnPhilpin @wearsmanyhats Oh, I love Keyboard Maestro. John, start with tiny little things and then you'll learn how to build up from there. For example, at a specified time each day it could open a web page for you in your preferred browser. I have a macro that opens a bunch of web pages plus some related files.

@Miraz funnily enough - the browser world is where i have set up my first ones - i have a range of sites that have similar URLS - I now have a macro that lists them all and i choose the one i want - view OR edit

@Miraz yes the edit ties to a 1 password trigger so I select the letter and hit return
