@lmika Heh, not sure if you’re kidding… Once upon a time English had a singular you (thou) and a plural (you), then we ended up using the plural for for both singular and plural. Now many feel the need for a plural form. There’s a similar transition in progress for s/he and they where the plural is being adopted for the singular. New Zealand Māori have more subtlety with forms koe (one you), kōrua (two yous) and koutou (three or more yous). (Māori also has forms for ‘we’ which include or exclude the listener and refer to two or more than two 🤯).
