@Lynessence Good to see you aiming to enjoy tea. 😀 I'm a tea drinker myself. From what I've read, the tea in teabags tends to be of lower quality than loose leaf. Plus teabags apparently contain plastic — not good for the environment. 'Green' tea is a bit of a big category. There are different green teas, with different flavours. Plus green tea responds well to water that hasn't reached boiling as it scorches and doesn't taste as good. Tea should also only be steeped for a few minutes or it gets bitter. Take that teabag out after 3 or 4 minutes at most.

@Miraz I didn't know that tea bags contain plastic. I've bought the cheap ones that are supposedly made of paper before, and they taste like it ... discusting!

Thank you for the tips. :-) i’d actually rather drink tea that doesn’t require me to boil water. It hasn’t happened often, but I have had a few accidents with my kettle and sustained a few burns, definitely not something I want to repeat.
