@vishae How was it? It's on my To Read list and has been for quite some time, only because I've read other books by Scott Meyer that I enjoyed, but its synopsis hasn't really grabbed me.
@Lioncourt The start was hard going for me, all the characters seemed really stupid and absurd - it was like the worst bits of Magic 2.0 magnified. I really wanted to give up on it. But I persevered and the story got better and in the end, the characters did improve/learn stuff, so that was okay.
Not sure if I’d ever recommend this book to anyone if they haven’t already bought it. But if they have and is struggling to finish, I can say that it gets better (after the 50% mark) and worth reading to the end.
