@christopherchelpka This is a good list. For those wanting more depth, Kruger is good for the NT, but doesn't handle the OT. I might still suggest Beckwith's The Old Testament Canon of the New Testament Church," and (even if I disagree at points), Stephen Chapman's, _The Law and the Prophets. For less complicated introductions, consider Ched Spellman's short book on canon formation.
