I bought a new iPad after the sad death of my 10.5 in iPad Pro. I’ve gotta say that I love Stage Manager. It brings a lot of new possibilities to the iPad.

@KyleEssary Sorry for your loss. Happy for your gain. What model did you go for?

@ChrisJWilson I bought the M2 iPad Pro. Family and friends gave money at Christmas because they all knew I needed a new one for ministry/teaching. I'm really thankful for it.

@KyleEssary We have some things in common (I’m a pastor, Cowboys fan, Dad, and use an iPad when speaking). Wondering what your preferred setup/apps are for prep and presentation?

@Mtt Hey Matt, it's nice to "meet" you. When I preach, I use a manuscript, so I keep PDF Expert open alongside Logos, where I have the text marked up.

When I teach, I'm usually projecting slides and/or Goodnotes from my iPad—especially if I'm teaching languages and need to mark things up or write in realtime for the class to see.

What apps/setup do you use?

@KyleEssary I currently write outlines/manuscripts in Markdown. Runestone on iOS, almost any basic text editor on Mac (iA Writer currently).

When I speak at my home church, I use Teleprompter Premium on a back wall. I hold a small remote that lets me pause/advance when needed.

For slides, we use ProPresenter. Luckily, I’m able to use a volunteer for controlling that.

When elsewhere, I either use GoodReader or the Books app directly on an iPad. I travel with a mini because I never know the space I’ll have available on a pulpit/podium.

@Mtt I use iA writer to write outlines/manuscripts as well. It's one of my favorite apps.
