I really prefer blog themes that have a sidebar for my own blog. And a sidebar that I can add content to without editing the whole theme code or farting around with editing CSS. Just saying.
@bix @bradenslen Is there maybe a Hugo template with a sidebar that could be modified for micro.blog? I go back and forth between wanting one and not.
@kimberlyhirsh @bix I was half thinking about Micro.blog and half thinking about Wordpress themes when I wrote that. I have both. WP theme designers seem to be moving away from sidebars too. I understand that mobile is driving a lot of this. I do like to swap stuff in and out of the sidebar with relative ease.
