I don't read a lot of romance, but this book is hysterical and fun and keeps surprising me.
If done well, I like the "combo" sub-genres, e.g. romantic suspense, SF romance, ... where the sub isn't just facade, but genuine and clever and true to type.
@kiwi2002 The good thing about romance is there's so much variety out there. Something for everyone.
@cheribaker highly recommend doing so. I've been almost exclusively reading romance for a bit over a year and have no regrets.
