📚🍳 Started reading the introduction to Jules Sherred’s Crip Up the Kitchen: Tools, Tips and Recipes for the Disabled Cook and I might cry.

“The kitchen is the worst room in the house if you are disabled. I’m about to change that and make life easier for everyone.”

@KimberlyHirsh Ohhh, this looks rad! Thanks for sharing! I recently found out about a similar book: www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-aut…

@KimberlyHirsh sounds promising! I love they used a spoon on the cover, thank you designer for doing your research 👏

I am here for these books challenging paradigms and offering gentler, kinder ways of doing things. Last year I read “How to Keep House While Drowning” and “Organizing Solutions for People with ADHD” and together they were life-changing for recalibrating my relationship with my house and my stuff.

@tracydurnell Ooh I’ll have to look into those! I also recently got Work It Out: A Mood-Boosting Guide for People Who Just Want To Lie Down.

@KimberlyHirsh This sounds like it’s made for me! It’s not like I don’t have other fitness books, but even the first steps in those are like 10 foot hurdles for me. @tracydurnell

@KimberlyHirsh @odd 👀 that definitely sounds worth checking out! I need all the help I can get to exercise enough. I don’t seem to get the runner’s high from exercise other people talk about so I have to find other motivations 🤷‍♀️
