Last full day in Europe and I’m spending it alternating between packing and lying down. Don’t underestimate how much stuff you can acquire in 4 months, even when you’re doing your best to be really selective.

@KimberlyHirsh That's the one thing I got wrong on my trip last fall. I packed the smallest bags I could take as minimally as possible, meaning I had very little space for the few things I bought on my travels. Classic amateur mistake.

@sherif Yeah - we actually picked up an extra suitcase (my sister had used one of mine, then had her husband bring her large one over when he joined us) and have since filled it and sent it home with a friend. We'd be in real trouble if we hadn't done that.

@KimberlyHirsh Genius. I was too attached to my vision of traveling light and maybe that did help me be really picky about what I bought, but also limited what I considered. I loved Europe.
