@JohnPhilpin Haha, that was a while ago, and judging by the date only days before Covid lockdown. 😀
@Miraz yes indeed where we were staying we were already in the wiping money stage and with Jax’s advance radar we left early from there after leaving Wellington earlier than planned and we drive north stopping at odd stores for supplies as we went and then somewhere a little north of Bombay Hills pulled off road by Police to prove we were going home.
@Miraz also interesting (and hadn’t actually clocked this befire) but that date was the actual return date for us to go back to the USA but around day 50 of our ‘100 day’ visit was when our channels moved into overdrive - and we changed the flights and decided to ‘hang here’ while it all blew over because neither US nor UK looked like good options.
I know … 6 years later … best laid plans.
