@JohnPhilpin @flotisserie Micro.blog supports webmentions in the form of ‘reply’ and ‘rsvp’ already but the tricky part is writing the correct markup when you write a post. You can see incoming webmentions you get, but they are under account > webmentions and not bundled in the mentions area.
I’m adjusting my web app client so both are easier and more intuitive. It is getting re-written and possibly renamed. When it’s done I’ll share :)
@heyloura 🔎🖇️ as you can see I have been struggling with this for a while (elapsed - not actual). I even got them working at one point - but in my ongoing blog redesign I have managed to get them up and working - and lose them.
This time it might just be as simple as the css is broken .. I will .. once more … enter the breach.

@JohnPhilpin Quick look shows that your theme has proper microformats including h-entry, which is good. I checked a couple of the pages that you linked and didn’t see the u-reply-to class on the links. That’s the fiddly markup I mentioned, Micro.blog needs it and you have to type the anchor tag out with it - not a markdown link. Try typing this into a new post (not the reply box).

That should send me a webmention via Micro.blog to this post. “a post by Loura” will be the visible text of the link, “https://heyloura.com/2026/09/25/what-would-it-be-like.html” is the link itself and “u-in-reply-to” in the class tag is the magic. I’ll report back if I get it (or not). I’ll also send a webmention back at that new post and we’ll see if you get it.
