@JohnPhilpin I think we are starting to see the stock market decouple itself from the actual real economy. We all know that the stock market is just an arbitrary way for traders to make money. Now it's becoming more clear that it is not a measure of the actual economy.

@JohnPhilpin I think the separation between Wall Street and Main Street first dawned on me when I was about 12 and I noticed that Wall Street was booming and yet, my family was struggling to prepare food. And we were “middle class.” It’s only gotten more difficult in the 40 years since.
