Trying to work out the break even point for countless double AA batteries against the price of a new Magic Mouse.

@JohnPhilpin I've been using 'eneloop' rechargables, but even they drain quite rapidly. Still, the are paid for.

@JohnPhilpin Someone gave me a Magic Mouse, and I must say its battery recharge is mighty welcome.

@JohnPhilpin It's time. (Although I'd recommend the Magic Trackpad instead. Just make sure you remove the AA's from the mouse before they explode.)

@russwinn its funny - i carry my mouse with my laptop so i don’t have to deal with the trackpad - so the idea of buying one separately seems non logical - am i missing something ?

@JohnPhilpin Ah. I see says the blind man. Nope you’re not missing anything. Didn’t realize that was your use case. I’d still say it’s time. Carrying a lightning cable to charge with is lighter than extra batteries. (Even though you can’t use while charging.)

@russwinn particularly since you are likely carrying one anyway for the phone!
