Keir Starmer sort of reminds me of when Kevin Keegan held his hands up and resigned as England football manager. He essentially said 'I've realised that I'm not actually very good at this job'
I heard a similar quote about Starmer in that 'he doesn't really understand politics'. This makes sense to me.
If he did, surely he could have ridden out the Mandelson saga, promoted his 'achievements' and been more ruthless with disillusioned rivals (Streeting).
He just strikes me as very indecisive.
