I have a standard that I can access through the web - but that URL isn’t being picked up by the app - it is probably too large - or wrong format - or something. Will look at another time.

@JohnPhilpin Can't figure out the problem. It's a .gif, and it's square. Doesn't seem to matter where I store it or what gif I use. It's minor, but it's taking the wind out of my sails a little.
@jack @JohnPhilpin This is why I like the default. 😂 It is a shame it doesn't work, though understandable. In a way I like that about it since things like this used to be broken all the time so it feels oddly authentic? IDK. Either way it's a nice little, basic and limited escape from all of the Platform chat apps that are desparate to be anything but simply a place to chat.
@simonwoods have you checked out throne ... if not I can invite you to a chat there .... but it isn’t designed like 1997

I am playing around with it for other reasons ... so while there I created a Micro Blog Chatroom.
