🧹 cleaned out the inner workings (coils, fan, etc) of the refrigerator…hoping by later tonight it is apparent (via an ice cube forming) that the freezer is fixed…

@aa My fingers are crossed for you. A couple of years ago our freezer stopped making ice… then stopped keeping ice cream from melting. I made valiant repair attempts but concluded the compressor failed. LG has a defective design and could not fix ours. We gave up and bought a Bosch.

@fgtech not looking good so far. Was what previously solid ice is slowly melting while in the freezer.

@aa I feel your pain. Maybe you will have better luck getting service than we did. 🤞🏻

After our experience I made sure to purchase the replacement from a place that will service what they sell.
