Also, I've somehow gone all of my life without learning much of anything about cooperatives but recently I keep getting my attention by their... uh, potential, maybe.
@simonwoods if coops are your thing then check out dig life - I’m a founding member (whatever that means) .... but the platform we are trying make and launch is CasS ( Cooperation as a Service )
@simonwoods on a side note - my dad had strong connections with Rochdale and so I learned about Co-ops a long time ago ... not just through shopping in one 🤓 .... but delighted to see a resurgent movement in the digital age.

Yeah, I think there can be a lot in Co-ops especially in the digital age. If we're going to enable people to have more power of their lives there needs to the opportunity to do so, which is why I drone on about a need for greater power in local governance. I see no reason why we can't use the fundamentals of the digital age -- faster communication via better tech that is becoming more and more accessible -- to achieve these goals.
