It was so blimmin cold this morning that today I went down to the shed and retrieved the extra winter bedding.
We don't have very much firewood left and won't be buying more before we move. I don't want to use it all up before even June rolls around …
@Miraz Yeah, we’ve been getting very cold nights here too. I think it’s been below freezing every night this week.
@lmika Big highs so clear freezing nights then gorgeous sunny days. We felt it extra hard this morning after nearly a week in Whangārei where the temperatures are several degrees higher.
@Miraz it’s distinctly sharp down here in Queenstown and I’m very much looking forward to getting back to Ruby Bay. The question is whether I remember to turn the heating on remotely in time
