@tiffany I’m glad it wasn’t just me. I felt like a failure that I didn’t enjoy it. Like should I turn in my Nerd badge?

@cheesemaker I felt the same way. It just...it wasn't good. Just seemed silly to me.

@cheesemaker I love Neil Gaiman on his own and I had never read Pratchett. This doesn't make me want to read him either. I get that they riffed off each other but it was poorly executed imo.

@tiffany @cheesemaker

Read a little of each. My friends insist that I would love Pratchet ... personally I liked Good Omens

@JohnPhilpin @tiffany @cheesemaker You would definitely like Pratchett, John. TBH I'm surprised there are any people from outside of Britain who enjoy Pratchett, mostly since the man never went out of his way to appease people who don't have much knowledge and/or experience of our culture.

Gaiman on the other hand, well... he works with Amazon so yeah.

@JohnPhilpin @tiffany yeah lots of people whose opinions I really respect loved Good Omens. I hold no ill will towards any of them. It just isn’t my cup of tea. If I’m coming clean about my nerd status, I have to admit I didn’t like Snow Crash either... 😱😱😱
