I just signed 🔗 Joe Crawford’s guest book. I also have one of those. The one that @bjhess built. 😎 I have to say that only as I have wandered the web and signed have I realized how unusual Barry’s is - in that allows Markdown - which if supported allows me to leave my Kilroy moniker …

@JohnPhilpin Well done John. I've taken inspiration from you and I'm making an effort to sign more guestbooks, but not quite on this scale.

@bradenslen well it’s easier when someone like Manu provides a list … the challenge is to find the books to sign .. a much bigger job than actually doing the signing .. I wonder if @bjhess has any ideas about ‘guestbook discovery’.

1) repositioned my guestbook link to the top of my 'more' menu
2) when you fill in the guest book - there is a link to 🖇️ here
3) once you have signed the guest book - the thank you note now automatically provides that list.

@JohnPhilpin @bradenslen So far my strategy has been just the same as yours…finding guestbooks from the guestbooks of others.

@bjhess @JohnPhilpin I have it easy, the Indieweb/sloweb websites that I explore daily all have guestbooks. Literally if I throw a stick I'll hit one. I just have to remember to pause and sign.

@bradenslen I find that if i ‘literally’ throw a stick at my computer it is at risk of being damaged 🤓 but in the immortal words of ‘Charlie’ .. “I Understand”.
