@JohnPhilpin @simonwoods I have absolutely no sympathy for Gove, who is an entirely malign presence in British politics, but “branded a hypocrite” always gets my back up. It’s far too easy to spot hypocrisy in others; we’d all be a lot better off if we were as good at identifying it in ourselves.

@Cassinato ... and to replace with a lower, simpler, sales tax ... on everything one would assume ... otherwise he will have a shortfall .. stand by sandwiches, gambling, lottery, bingo, charities, welfare .. you know .. all those things that are currently excempt and important to les well off people.
