@colinwalker I have been trying to limit my iPhone lately. There are a few things on it I need for people to contact me, or for server monitoring at work. But the rest of the apps I have on my phone is an attempt to limit it to the stuff I actually want to do.
Like Headspace, reading stuff I have added to pinboard, reading books, listening to music, audiobooks and podcasts.
In other words: no e-mail, no rss apps, no youtube etc.
@hjertnes I don’t receive much email these days since I had a mass-unsubscribed from things a while back so that’s not much of a problem for me. I don’t think I could go without RSS, it’s part of my routine, but I admire your ruthlessness.
@colinwalker I still use RSS, but not on my phone. Because it felt like I spent more time processing it compares to reading stuff I've saved from it.
@JohnPhilpin No, I removed Unread a few days ago. But I'm still using ReadKit on my Mac though.
@hjertnes so no casually sitting in a chair and scrolling through the news for you then?
