@smith @JohnPhilpin I use Drafts! Though I keep being tempted by the wonderful MarsEdit.

@rosemaryorchard nothing wrong with Drafts - but I do use both ... but let me understand - you can write markdown in drafts and send it to wordpress and it renders as HTML - no modification on the site needed?

@JohnPhilpin Drafts can send HTML to WordPress - it's built into many actions already!

@rosemaryorchard @JohnPhilpin ahh so you compose in Markdown, but once you send it to Wordpress it’s HTML and you can’t edit in Markdown anymore…

@smith The Jetpack plugin enables Markdown on WP sites.

@robothive i have jetpack on the site I am trying to get to work - tags for headings don’t seem to be translating - but bold controls for text - as an example - do work ... is there a setting somewhere that I am missing?

@JohnPhilpin Hmm. I don't think so. I know the Markdown toggle can be a little strange. Sometimes it would reset for me at random so make sure it's toggled. Otherwise, I'm not sure.

@JohnPhilpin Drafts for Mac doesn’t have actions (which would allow it to post to WordPress) yet, but it’s getting there!
