@JohnPhilpin I’m pretty sure Elvis’s are referring to more than one Elvis, and that Elvis’ are the right way.

Edit: There are, and have a long time been multiple Elvis’s of course. One of my favorite ones, (apart from the original), is the frontman of Dread Zeppelin.

@odd Belonging to more than one Elvis would be Elvises’.

My point is that the S-apostrophe construction should only be used for plural possessives, not for possessives for words that happen to end in S.
