@JohnPhilpin Your link behaves the same way in my browser as links to Instagram; as in, not at all. Just some sort of wall, "from M E T A".
@JohnPhilpin It's because Firefox blocks all of Meta's tracking by default. However, it loads fine in Safari.
@SimonWoods for me it opened in chrome and Firefox just fine … now I need to see if I have overruled the default somewhere
@JohnPhilpin I've just worked it out — there's an extension, made by Mozilla, that automatically contains Facebook. The effect is that it breaks Threads, since Mozilla have yet to update it to automatically switch Threads into the container.
This is one of those situations in which Mozilla has an admirable goal but the execution is lacking.
