Serious thought. IWatch becomes my sole cellular device and I then have an iPad, iPad mini or iPod Touch as my secondary device that is wifi or piggy backs on my watch’s 4G connection.

@JohnPhilpin Have been wanting rondo this for a while. If Ininderdtand correctly the carriers won’t let you just have the Apple Watch...
@nathanrhale not yet ... but really .. why wouldn’t they offer a similar deal to the phone - and add a pad like they add a watch at the moment ... wondering if this will be part of announcement later this year?
@JohnPhilpin I sincerely hope so!!! It seems the Apple Watch battery could be the limiting factor. Also I apologize for all those terrible typos in my first reply 🤦🏻♂️
@nathanrhale didn’t even spot them :-)
Re battery life ... my watch routinely takes me through two days, my phone needs a charge before the end of just one day.
@JohnPhilpin Nice! Looking forward to the day when my watch is my communications gateway.
