@JohnPhilpin it was on a recommended list I got sent, and I was reading into astrology (curious about the mechanics) a little while back so I was interested to see how it could be incorporated into a story. Apparently it was just a catch phrase they threw about in the story with little to no research.
@vishae got it ... I guess you can judge a book by its cover ;-)
@JohnPhilpin Well, funny thing is, the cover really reminds me of Rainbow Rowell’s Eleanor and Park and that was a much better written book.
@vishae for discussion / fun ... that phrasing at the end ... ‘much better written book’ versus ‘much better book’ .... I can imagine a 2*2 matrix with books mapped in to the 4 quadrants ... eg file dan brown in good book, badly written etc etc ...
so this book would be both bad and badly written ...
or is it that for you a good book has to be well written aswell ?
@JohnPhilpin oh I can totally agree with the 4 quadrants, and Dan Brown is a perfect example of good story that's not well written. A lot of YA books has an interesting premise that is not executed well. This book is both bad and terribly written.
