A particularly good collection of posts on my ‘on this day’ page today. Is that overly repetitive?

@jenett it’s a disease ... with no cure that I know of.

@JohnPhilpin @jenett Your "people first" idea made me think of this documentary that I've been trying to get people to view. It crept up on me, like people from an entirely different world, with a very poignant ending.

@jenett The one I watched is called Rodents of Unusual Size. The ending knocked me over because the guy who makes his living shooting the rodents considers them his friends, because they made it possible for him to stay in the area he loves, even after a hurricane blew away his five bedroom home. That is viewing life from a very high perspective!

@jenett Okay, great. Glad you saw it! And remember, earlier in the documentary it showed the old guy dancing with joy with ladies, young & old. The guy still experiences a LOT of joy. I wouldn't want to live there, but I sure found his life inspiring!

@Ron when you first posted that story, I had a noodle around and filed it into the interesting - but not enough - bucket. This second time, I doubled down and tried to watch it and failed. I am currently in the UK .. and as a PBS show - rights for UK not negotiated. But. But ,, have now added it to my watch list. Thankyou.
