@JohnAN being here all the time makes you forget the steady ownward progress that the team makes over time … all the time.

@JohnPhilpin I know. Apologies. I have to get my head in limerick mode and it's resisting. I had a couple of ideas but I didn't like them. Thank you for the prod :)

Your content, however you frame it, Is diverted, wherever you aim it, When a brand, as your host, Owns whatever you post, But at micro dot blog you reclaim it.

@JohnPhilpin I did two spaces in a text editor and copied and pasted here, but just adding three spaces here is nice and easy.

Thank you back, with bells on ... (searches for how to do bell emoji)

@JohnAN congrats on finding the bell emoji!

i find three spaces fits into the belt and braces category.

I was going to tell you not to forget that you can edit replies - but I see you did that :-)

adding a space between lines also creates a line break - like I have done with this reply.

@JohnPhilpin Thank you. My brain eventually catches up :) I'm going to add a space between lines now

to see if I've understood your meaning.

@JohnPhilpin Thank you :) Or "ta muchly," as someone used to say. I think "your content" is my favourite as well. But I'm never really satisfied with with them.

@JohnAN in the app … on the left you will see replies … click on that … click on any reply from the past 24 hours and an option in the pop up menu is edit …

After 24 hours you can no longer edit.

@JohnPhilpin Aha! It's only in the app that you can edit replies? I've found it now - a double click on the reply. I'm running out of thanks to give you but ... (stretches) ... here's another one: thank you :)

@JohnAN no worries and anything I can do to help people is a small amount of pay it forward for the awesome help I get from others in here … it’s a spectrum .. not to mention paying you back for your limericks 🤓

I rarely use the web site … so I don’t know if you can do the reply edits there … but I think you can.

@JohnPhilpin Oh, totally. I can't remember who said this, but I'm pretty sure it was a UK speaker. "Ta" used to be de rigeur in Australia too :) But you don't hear it as much these days.

@JohnPhilpin If it can be done there I haven't figured it out yet. But it's fine in the app, because it's on my laptop and mobile :) I know where to go now, to edit a reply.
