‘FINALLY’ … It might seem like one book - in fact it is bound like one - but when you hit quad pages - someone should call an editor.
@JohnPhilpin What do you mean by quad pages? I don’t remember anything weird, and I just reread it in the last couple of months.
@devilgate Apologies. I stand corrected. I use 'quad pages' when a book gets to page numbering that requires 4 digits ... I just checked, it nearly got there - but it ends in the late 900s, so does not fit the definiiton. That said - I did like it, I just feel that it might have gone on a little and would have benefited from being shorter - but I think JKR has that style of writing.
@JohnPhilpin Ah, I see. I was visualising something along the lines of four page-images to a physical page, like those versions of the OED you used to get that came with a magnifying glass.
I find that JKR's pages turn fast, no matter how many there are.
