Is 35 years too long to wait for a reference?
My friend John Caswell published my reference for him on his blog a couple of years ago - and it just resurfaced.
We had great times back then.
Have no hesitation in working with him.

@JohnPhilpin that's brilliant. I met John once, on a wintery morning in Amsterdam in 2003. His work has been on my radar / in my feedreader ever since. In a small group of branding and knowledge management people, he presented his visual methods then, and I still regularly think back to that one session 20yrs ago.
@ton awesome - so in 2003 Group Partners had been founded … can you share who the company was?
@JohnPhilpin it wasn't commercial work. A meet-up of branding experts (The Medinge Group it's called) and knowledge management people (like me. I was interested in brands as vehicle for expression of values, which served as anchor for KM). The group was writing a book together (Beyond Branding), I was an outsider invited for my KM ideas. My 2003 blogpost: www.zylstra.org/blog/2003... John showed his impressive work there using then recent results from work with a farmaceutical.
@JohnPhilpin I’m not sure if I got this right, (haven’t had my coffee yet), but did you work at Oracle, by any chance?
@ton oh wow - talk about closing the circle! What a small world.
Great post. I assume you’d be ok for me to share the link with John?
@ton are you on LinkedIN?
