@JohnPhilpin You are referring to North Carolina and do you know of specifics of this behavior is not working for the GOP? My impression is the opposite.
@frankm NC - thankyou - yes - and true that his vetoes were then over ruled by the ‘pubs - that said in the mid terms super majorities in both house and the senate in NC were lost so NC is now running a ‘divided govt’ rather than a republican trifecta … which is steady movement in the right direction …
