File this one in the stupid question bucket.

I know the Apple Pencil won’t work with the iPhone … but … would it work just as a simple pointer .. like the old adonit and similar styluses used to work?

@JohnPhilpin I only have the first generation Apple Pencil, but it does not work with my phone or even my newer iPad Pro at all to do anything.
