Observation re blot cross posting to micro blog - sometimes it is just some words … sometimes a link appears aswell …. and it seems that the difference is all to do with whether the post has some text at the beginning .. the experiments continue.

@Blot so looking at my problems .... I use

‘>' as blockquote and ‘![](_imag …’ for images

…and if either of those immediately follow the headline the link doesn’t make it - my fix is to add random text after the headline (if there is a headline) and that forces a link - though that does not seem to work with images.
