@ChrisJWilson agree ... I am definitely not a fan of their desire to control look and feel ... all the way down to not being able Center a heading or have an image that can be set smaller
The lack of personal domain is also an isssue .. yes I can export my posts ... and reimport but their references on other sides of the web are going to be lost
That all said - because I can’t do all that / I do focus on writing the newsletter / not tweaking , just added you to my stoop inbox collection.
@JohnPhilpin @ChrisJWilson I just discovered that Buttondown offers a virtual address. This was the main reason I went with Substack but now... 🤔

@JohnPhilpin I mentioned this earlier but you may have missed it. Did you create a list of microblogranauts who send newsletters? I remember someone did/does. Also I really like using stoop. It took me a bit to get consistent at using it and I wish it was easier to get rid of some of the older daily newsletters I receive but I’m a big fan.
@simonwoods I actually started my newsletter on buttondown...for one issue! I moved to revue for some reason (the extension for saving links? The payment system? Who knows) but buttondown is a very good service. If a random friend asked me what service they should use (and I can’t ask any other questions) I’d say buttondown.

@JohnPhilpin I knew there was a list, just couldn’t find it. I’ve found a couple of different ones but you have a couple I don’t have. I’ve favourite this post so I can find it again in the future.
