🤪 Pandemonium in the house this morning as a huge centipede appeared out of nowhere.
@crossingthethreshold Eek! In addition to being creepy, those things can give a very painful bite. (More of a risk for pets than humans, who are unlikely to try to pounce on them).

@JMaxB Creepy is a good description of them. There is just something about their presence that makes my skin crawl. One Thanksgiving we were clearing up after dinner, laughing and dancing, and suddenly my life lets out a scream. One had wrapped itself around her big toe. It had bee hiding under the table. The pain lasted a week.
