@JMaxB Yup, some convicts escaped from Nevada, got chased up there, fought back, killing several members of the posse, who killed several convicts in turn. The remaining convicts were caught and lynched.
A sordid little affair that pays no tribute to the beauty of the place. The Paiute called it Wit-sa-nap and told wondrous stories of the beauty. But we tossed that away in favor of anger.
