We were talking to the youth group about how most of tonight’s performers are from our era.

A youth, totally serious: “Snoop Dogg is in his 80s”

Us: 😆

Still serious: “Yeah, and he’s like dating Martha Stewart!”

@toddgrotenhuis I thought my kid was trolling when he said: Kid: "I thought Eminem has passed away already, he is so old" Me: "Um, he is (about) the same age as me" Kid: "..., I really thought he was grandads' age"

🤦‍♂️

@toddgrotenhuis Entirely off the subject, but I can't resist: I read a review of a Snoop Dogg album in which the reviewer referred to him as "Mr. Dogg." Respectful, yes, but it didn't sound right to me. Wouldn't that be like referring to, say, Crazy Horse as "Mr. Horse"?
A favorite photo of mine shows Snoop Dogg & Martha Stewart side by side and says "Guess which one of these two has been in federal prison?"
