February Photo Challenge Day 19: alive.
My cousin sent me one of her mother’s paintings. She was a talented artist and left quite a collection of wonderful work. I am delighted to have it, though I’d rather she were still alive. She was a gem.
@cliffordbeshers So, that's a painting? If so (or even if not), very impressive. I've been a fan of photo-realist painters for a long time.
@cliffordbeshers Thanks. The plastic wrap as part of the painting would be a real tour de force, but I expect the unwrapped painting will be good too.
@JMaxB Yeah, that was not her thing. But I'm going to ask my cousin if she has some of her Mom's doodles. She would fill pages and pages with intricate drawings, often paisley shapes drawn inside each other, like russian dolls, separate ones interlocking on the page, filling the whole space with curved lines.
