I concur with the sentiment that there is great value in international coverage of one’s own country.
While I read the most from The Economist and The Guardian, other reputable international resources I review have better context, clarity, & analysis than domestic sources.
@toddgrotenhuis Agreed. Not only is it good to get an outside look at one's own country, but it helps to be reminded, every day, that ours is just one country in a big world.
@toddgrotenhuis I like to combine this with local reporting (city/state).
I guess you could say I see the most benefit in the hyperlocal and global.
