“My pet hates at the moment are “bathtub”, “meet with” and “talk with”.

Odd that “with’ has lost so many of its friends, think “come with” not “come with me” … while elsewhere we are adding new friends like “meet with” etc.

@JohnPhilpin Thank you for calling out the abuse of "with". The destruction of the language is accelerating. People use "everyday" when they mean "every day", for instance, and have you noticed the brutal assaults on "including"? Sadly, the BBC and the Guardian are among the worst abusers there.
