I just started re-reading The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan 📚

I read this series years ago but ran out of steam waiting for the later books in the series.

I forgot how great the first book in the series is.

@JoeCotellese I could never make it through maybe the 5th chapter. Sorry, I found it dull and slogging–just me.

@JoeCotellese Hm. Anything by Terry Pratchett. If you want something more akin to WoT, I reccommend Stephen R. Donaldson’s “Chronicles of Thomas Covenant” series, starting with “Lord Foul’s Bane”. Or you can, if you’re desperate, try my own “Roland Targus” series.
