I own too many domains that I don’t use anymore yet have to renew all the time. Last time I let an unused domain expire, it seemingly got used for a spam-blog later down the line. Definitely don’t like that to happen again.

@svenseebeck the first domain I let expire became a porn site, so, I feel I understand your hesitancy to let a domain expire, even if you're not using it or don't want it any longer. Going to try to sell the extras?
@svenseebeck @kitt Fortunatly all my excess domain names are too obscure for anything like that to happen... I think.
@JacksonOfTrades @kitt i thoight so too, yet it still happened. I guess I will have to renew them until the end of time. Or such. Also stopping buying new ones could be a strategy. 😁
@svenseebeck Please, we've gotta set reasonable goals. Not buying new domains just seems too... unreachable :p
@svenseebeck @JacksonOfTrades there was a domain name swap project on HN or Reddit a few years back, where people offered their unused domains to people who would put them to good use. I like the idea, then and now.
A website that changes mouse every second, going to some weird mid 2000's one
An archive of cool mouse styles
A mouse tamagotchi game
@JacksonOfTrades noting that it’s more 🦌 or 🍧, than 🐁, or indeed 🖱 (it’s not mou.se) 🙊; hence chocolate.mous.se etc
@cn I like the idea of a dessert website, unsure if it would be anything more than a labor of love though. Maybe a chocolate shop? Ooooooo, a catalog of hair styles?
@jeremycherfas can your average mousse–user spell mousse?
Above average users (hipsters) should have no trouble…
