Mike is being thoughtful about why people don’t use Linux, but I’ll just be glib about it. The hardware sucks and the application software sucks.
@jsonbecker years ago a friend had me install Ubuntu on his brand new laptop. He hated the default software and had no idea why he couldn't install exe files of his favorite windows apps instead. I reverted it back for him and realized it's definitely not for everyone lol
@jsonbecker Heh, same! Or, to be clear, I think I could find the charm in a Framework laptop. But all the amazing indie software I had to forgo, is simply too much.
